This is who I am: a wacky stalk of Southeast Texas roots, cultivated with complication by my experience as a public school educator. My work experience is, in kind language, diverse, and the common thread uniting it all is my passion for people. Living love is the name of the game.

Discord has shifted to harmony in my own life, and it’s my purpose to shine a balanced light with authenticity & strength and help others do the same.

As a public school educator, my intention includes increasing equity & social justice from a wellness perspective. Beginning my career in a rural Title I school, I developed a keen sense of social awareness and deep compassion for community.  My yogic lifestyle offers a way to care for teachers so they may better care for their students, as well as a useful framework for considering how unjust structures can change.

When I’m not on a mat or in the classroom, I am hiking a trail, swimming in lakes, or snuggling with my two cats, Pancho and Margaux.
